Qilixiang, also known as Senecio, is a small arbor belonging to Rutaceae and Murraya. It is widely distributed in China, mainly concentrated in the southern region, such as Hunan, Guangxi, Hainan, Guizhou, Taiwan, Fujian, Guangdong and so on.
The height of Qilixiang is relatively high, up to about 12 meters, the color of the trunk is off-white, and the surface is shiny.The length of the leaflets is about 3-9 cm, the width is about 1.5-4 cm, the top part is relatively long and narrow, the color is dark green, with wavy undulations on the edge.Flowering in April to September, the inflorescence is axillary and terminal, petal color is white, fragrance is relatively strong, can spread far.It can also bear fruit, the shape of the long and narrow oval, the color is orange to vermilion.
Murraya paniculata is a positive plant, which grows like sunshine, so it should be placed in a place with good light when maintaining.And it likes warm climate, the most suitable temperature for growth is about 20 -32 , can not withstand the cold climate, when the temperature drops in winter, it needs to be moved indoors for maintenance, below 0 may be frozen to death.
