The requirement of random grass on soil is not high. It likes loose, fertile and well drained sandy soil. The soil layer is required to be deep, and the pot plant can choose fertile and loose culture soil.
Random grass like the environment with sufficient light. It should be given enough light when breeding. However, it can not be directly exposed to the sun and can be properly shaded in high temperature in summer. Be careful not to shade too much, it will cause the plant to grow in vain, blossom badly or blossom less.
Random grass likes warm environment, suitable temperature for growth is about 18-28 ℃, with strong cold resistance. In the summer high temperature weather, pay attention to cooling and moisturizing, spray water to the plant 1-2 times a day, after the autumn cooling, place the flowerpot in the window facing south to avoid wind for maintenance, and keep the soil moist. In winter, we should put the random grass in the place with better indoor light for maintenance, especially in the north of China, we should pay attention to the temperature of the cold proof and warm keeping room not less than 5 ℃.
Random grass like humid environment, not resistant to drought, dry weather in summer will lead to poor growth. During the growing period, the soil should be kept moist, watered more, provided with more sufficient water, and the basin soil should not be too dry.
Random grass is easy to suffer from root rot, leaf spot and rust. In case of root rot, it shall be pulled out and burned in time to prevent downward extension. Other diseases can be controlled with 65% zineb wettable powder.
Compost is used as base fertilizer. Apply nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium once a month, and the proportion of phosphorus and potassium is slightly higher, so as to promote flowering. The amount of fertilizer should be controlled to prevent the plants from growing in vain. When drawing inflorescence, add 1 - 2 times of phosphate fertilizer, or special fertilizer.
