For the propagation of Pinus koraiensis, the leaves at 1 cm of the branch end shall be removed by 5-6 cm of the current year's vigorous growth, and the culture soil shall be inserted 1 cm deep. The soil shall be compacted to make the cuttings stable. The soil and cuttings shall be moistened with water spray, and placed in a plastic bag, the mouth of the bag shall be closed and placed in the half sun.
After that, we often open bags to check the conditions in the bags. When the soil is dry and watered, as long as the branches and leaves are still green and upright, they can survive in two to three weeks. After survival, open the bag to let Komatsu adapt to the external environment slowly, and remove the plastic bag for normal management one week later.
Cut the branch of 2-3cm, insert it into pure perlite, and add water to the bottle, but the water can't bubble to the branch. It's better to just reach the bottom of the branch, then seal the bottle mouth, keep it moist, see astigmatism, and open the bottle cap occasionally for breath.
Take root in a week, immediately pour water every day, manage normally one or two weeks later, and water again when the soil surface is dry.
In the cultivation of Komatsu, attention should be paid to that too much water can not be poured. The roots of Komatsu are fleshy roots, which are easy to rot when standing water. In the spring and autumn season, they should be poured once every three to four days, twice a day when the temperature is high and the water evaporates quickly in summer, and once in the morning and once in the evening. In winter, if the temperature is low, it can be poured once every seven to ten days, with warm water of about 15 ℃, rather than very cold water. It should be poured at noon on a sunny day and thoroughly.
During the growth period of spring, summer and autumn, water liquid fertilizer once every seven to ten days. Liquid fertilizer is a kind of high concentration fertilizer which is made of animal and plant residues by adding water and fully fermenting and maturing. Before use, it should be diluted with water in the proportion of 1:5 ~ 10 before application.
It is necessary to prune Pinus koraiensis regularly, cut off two or three pairs of leaves of long branches, delete the dense branches and wipe off the root and tiller buds. The basin needs to be turned over every year. In three years, the roots of Komatsu will reach a gratifying level.
