The normal flowering period of Calendula is from April to September every year, that is to say, from the beginning of summer to the end of autumn, the diameter of the flower is between 4cm and 5cm, showing a golden orange color. If it is placed indoors, it is definitely a more prominent landscape.
Its original flowering is the beginning of summer, so how can it bloom in the cold winter? In fact, it's very simple. It's realized by sowing. When sowing in late August, Calendula has a strong ability to adapt to the environment, so it's easy to maintain after sowing.
Try to select seeds with large particles and full integrity for sowing, and it is better to be fresh. Spread the seeds evenly on the soil, and cover it with a layer of soil about 3mm. Control the temperature between 20 ℃ and 22 ℃, about 7 to 10 days can germinate. When the buds grow to a certain height, they can be transplanted or planted. In winter, the temperature should be controlled above 10 degrees, or the plants will suffer from frost damage. Then, maintain the soil in a slightly wet state and apply fertilizer normally. In this way, flowers can bloom in winter.
