Several common diseases of Clivia are white silk disease, soft rot, anthrax and so on.
At the onset of the disease, the stem near the root will appear irregular spots, the epidermis is is soft, and then many white hyphae appear, gradually expanding, spreading the whole plant.
Disinfect the culture soil before potting. Simply put the culture soil at 60 ℃ for 24 hours. (it seems that it's a little difficult to operate at home, so it's better to disinfect it directly.)
Frequently observe and immediately cut off the diseased leaves and sprinkle lime powder for disinfection.
In the early stage of the disease, it can be watered with carbendazim powder once a week, 2-3 times.
When the disease occurred, there were light yellow spots on the leaves, the plants were soft and rotten, and bacterial fluid flowed out of the spots.
Once the diseased strain is found, pull out the diseased strain immediately and remove it completely. Use a disinfectant knife to cut off the rotten part, give proper light and keep ventilation.
If it is rotten, remove the diseased tissue directly, soak it in potassium permanganate solution for 1 hour, then wash it with water and dry it, smear the grass ash on the incision, and plant it in another basin.
&Most of them occurred in the humid and sultry season, and the disease site was the tip and the edge of the leaves. At the early stage, the leaves appeared brown spots, gradually expanded, and at the later stage, the plants withered.
Water properly, place the flowerpot in a well ventilated and light environment, and keep the soil moist. Appropriate application of phosphorus and potassium. Plant growth environment is suitable, healthy growth, will reduce the probability of disease.
Once the plant is found to be sick, spray it with carbendazim 800 times solution, once every 6 days, 3-5 times of the solution will be effective. Be sure to find early treatment!
