Hollyhock has strong adaptability to soil, strong salt and alkali resistance, and can still grow in 0.6% salt soil.
It grows best in loose and fertile sandy soil with good drainage and rich organic matter.

In order to control the height of plant dwarfing, the root can be cut vertically by milling at 10 cm on the left and 10 cm on the right of the plant root during the growth period, and then cut again at two places before and after 2-3 weeks.
The more times the root is broken, the shorter the plant is, which is suitable for potting.
