Choose fertile and loose, convenient drainage and irrigation, leeward and sunny sandy loam or soil rich in organic matter for cultivation. After deep ploughing and scarifying, the border is 1.5-1.6m wide, 30cm high and 20cm wide at the bottom of the ditch. Each mu is applied with 3000-4000kg of farmyard manure as base fertilizer, which is planted in shallow ditches or dug holes according to the plant row spacing of 14 × 20cm, and watered after planting to keep the soil moist.
In case of drought in seedling stage, water it sooner or later. The seedlings survived to the time before they were closed. They were weeded and fertilized twice or three times. The main fertilizer was human manure or fertilizer.
For each time of weeding and topdressing, 1000-1500 kg of human feces and urine or 15-25 kg of urea are applied per mu, which are diluted first and then concentrated.

If the beverage is processed, the whole grass can be cut with sickle, washed and dried according to the production process requirements, and then it can be stored for standby.
The germination rate of Houttuynia cordata seeds is not high, suitable for germination at 17-25 ℃, the germination rate is about 20%, so it is often used to branch, cuttings and rhizomes. Moreover, Houttuynia cordata is rarely planted in families, most of which are propagated in large quantities.
