Jasmine bicolor is generally cultivated in East China and North China, which is suitable for slightly acid soil with good drainage and air permeability.
The suitable temperature for the growth of two-color jasmine is 20 ~ 30 ℃, under which the branches and leaves are luxuriant and vigorous. When the temperature drops to 12 ℃, it will warm up and enter the dormancy period. It is not cold resistant. In winter, it should be maintained in time to avoid frostbite.
Bi color Jasmine like sunny and humid environment, avoid sun exposure, and need proper shade in summer. The flowers and leaves are easy to shrink due to over exposure. The light time of every day should not be less than 4 hours, which can ensure blooming and flourishing.
Bi color Jasmine likes to be wet, and is afraid of water logging. When watering, we should adhere to the principle of "wet when dry". It should be noted that watering in summer should not only meet the needs of plant growth, but also keep the air moist and spray 2-3 times of clear water to the leaves every day. Keep basin soil dry in winter to prevent frostbite.
During the growth period, the alum fertilizer should be timely watered to prevent soil alkalization and yellow leaves, increase soil fertility and promote plant growth.
After the two color jasmine flowers withered, a thin cake fertilizer water was applied once, and a liquid fertilizer mainly composed of P and K fertilizer was applied 10 days later, and combined with water, potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution was sprayed on the leaf surface to promote flower bud differentiation.
In normal maintenance, the yellow and withered leaves shall be cut off in time to avoid affecting the overall ornamental quality.
After the flower is withered, cut off the remnant flowers in time and cut off 1 /3 ~ 1 /2 of the branches. At the end of autumn, weak branches, introverted branches and disease and insect branches will be cut off to ensure that the two-color Jasmine will grow vigorously in the next year.
The cold resistance of jasmine bicolor is very poor. It must be maintained indoors in winter. Generally, it will enter the house in November. Keep the room temperature above 0 ℃, control the watering, keep the basin soil dry, and let it survive the winter safely.
Bi color jasmine is afraid of waterlogging. In rainy season, watering should be reduced. Outdoor potted plants should be drained to avoid rotten roots.
