Tang Yin, which originated in South Africa, has been cultivated all over the world. It can be seen that the temperature requirements of Tang Yin are not very strict. The optimum temperature range is 15-20 ℃.
Slightly cold resistant, but not lower than 3 ℃, otherwise it is easy to frostbite.
Spring and autumn are the growth period. Water regularly once a week or two.
In summer, when the temperature is high, the growth of plants is weak. Watering should be controlled to prevent rot.
In winter, the temperature is low, and a small amount of water is needed. If you see that the basin soil is dry, you can properly pour some water into the basin soil instead of ponding.
In the spring and autumn growth period, fertilizer should be applied once every 10 days, and it is better to choose the thin fertilizer which is rotten. Do not apply fertilizer when it is hot in summer and cold in winter.
Tang Yin can be propagated by bud, leaf or stem segment with leaves.
The breeding season should be spring and autumn when the growth is vigorous.
Change pots once a year in spring. The basin soil shall be sandy loam with good drainage and air permeability, and the root injury shall be avoided when changing basin.
Tang Yin is a foliage plant. There is a layer of ash on the leaves. If it is exposed, it will be very red and gorgeous.
But when watering and fertilizing, the fertilizer and water will be reduced to the leaves, which will wash away the white powder and affect the ornamental value.
Tang Yin is a plant that can be cultured outdoors all day long as it is not exposed to the sun. In winter, we should pay special attention to full sunshine maintenance.
In summer high temperature season, improper watering will lead to plant rot, so water must be controlled.
