Winter wintersweet cutting, the best choice is in December, the rest of the time can also be carried out, but the survival rate is not as good as December
The 1-3-year-old branches are most suitable for cutting. They are picked from the base of the wintersweet plant, then torn out along the place where they are picked, and cut with a knife.
The branches can't be cut immediately after cutting. They need to be stored for a period of time. Keep the lower part at a length of about 20cm. Then trim the hairy part at the bottom to make it flat. Tie it up with a rope, spray the double plastic bag on the bread outside the water, put it in a dark and ventilated place, and adjust the temperature to 12-16 ℃.
The substrate used for cutting is pure coarse sand, and sufficient water is poured before cutting. About 20 days after the branches are stored, the lower part will start to expand, and a piece of white tissue will be raised. It can be cut when it is observed that the shoots on the upper part also sprout. First, make a hole in the wet sand, then bury the cuttings and press them to bear fruit.
After cutting, it's better to cover it with a layer of plastic film and put it in a sunny place.
