Oxalis major is the basal leaf, petiole is thin and weak, about 7-10 cm long, base has joint, leaflet is obovate or wide obovate, about 1.5-2 cm long, about 2.5-3 cm wide, apex is blunt, base is wide wedge, surface is smooth and glabrous, back has sparse pilose.
Oxalis can be divided into basal leaves and upper stem leaves, which are alternate. The leaflets are obcordate, smaller than the former, about 4 - 16 mm in length and 4 - 22 mm in width, with both surfaces pilose.
Oxalis grandiflora is umbel, basal or subbasal, obviously longer than leaf, with purplish red petals and wide obovate shape.
Oxalis flowers solitary or several clustered in umbels, axillary, as long as leaves. The petals are yellow and oblong.
