The outline of the leaves of solstice is round, 1.5 to 2 cm long, the apex of the leaves is round, the base is heart-shaped, there are three deep cracks, the lobes have round teeth, sometimes the leaves are oval, 3 shallow or deep cracks, the lobes have no teeth or sparse round teeth, both sides of the leaves are green, with pilose growth on them.
The lower part of the stem of Leonurus japonicus has ovate leaf outline, wide cuneiform base, palmate 3-lobed, long round rhombus or oval lobes, usually 2.5 to 6 cm long and 1.5 to 4 cm wide, green above and light green below.
Summer solstice round umbel, about 1 cm in diameter, corolla white, faintly pink.
The inflorescence of Leonurus japonicus is an axillary cyme, generally with 8 to 15 flowers, which are round, and the diameter is 2 to 2.5cm, forming a long spike.
