If it is planted at home, the growth is relatively slow, and the previous flowering time will increase, which will take at least 4-5 years to bloom. As long as normal maintenance, to a certain number of years of growth, it will naturally bloom. Its flowering period is from May to August every year, and the opening time lasts for about 4-5 weeks. If the Spathiphyllums in the family have not been blooming at this time, it may be that the age is not enough, that is to say, to keep good maintenance conditions, and carefully maintain for several years, they will bloom.
Apart from the reason of growing years, if it has not blossomed, it may be because the maintenance method is not correct.
1. Lack of light: in the dark environment, growth will be inhibited, and Spathiphyllums will be difficult to bloom. The supplement of sunlight is an important condition for growth. Only by contacting with enough sunlight can we synthesize nutrients to promote flowering.
2. Lack of water and fertilizer: failure to apply sufficient water and nutrients before flowering will also lead to flower failure. Water and nutrients can be added before flowering, especially P and K fertilizer.
