Stormy rain orchid is a kind of bulbous plant that is easy to maintain. It needs to change the basin once after 2-3 years of cultivation, so that it can have enough nutrients to support the later growth. Without changing the basin, the nutrients in the basin soil will be consumed, and the growth is difficult to continue. It can be carried out after the end of florescence, and the temperature is also suitable, which has little effect on the plant itself.
Before changing the pot, take the plant out of the pot first. Move slowly and be careful not to hurt the root system. Don't water the pot a few days before changing it. Keep the pot soil dry. Tilt the pot outward slightly and loosen the surrounding pot soil to take out the plant. Do not plant immediately after taking it out. First, repair the root, shake off the soil on the root system, and cut off the old and rotten root on it.
The flowerpot should be larger than before, mainly for ventilation, which is conducive to the discharge of water, and will not accumulate a large amount of water in the basin. The requirements for flower soil are relatively high, only the soil with good quality can grow vigorously, the rotten leaf soil is the best, and sand is added to increase drainage.
When choosing the right temperature, first fill a part of the soil in the flowerpot, press it gently, and then plant it.
