The leaves of Centella asiatica are kidney shaped, round or horseshoe-shaped, green in color, with blunt serrations on the edge, broad heart-shaped at the base, pilose on the back or glabrous on both sides, petiole about 1.5-27cm long, with little pilose or glabrous on the upper part.

Centella asiatica is an umbrella shaped inflorescence with axils of leaves. Usually, there are 2 bracts, rarely 3 bracts, which are ovate. There are 3-4 flowers under each umbel, with oval petals and purplish red or milky white petals.

Fruit

The fruit of Centella asiatica is round, with a heart-shaped base and a flat cross-section, flat on both sides and several longitudinal edges on each side. There are obvious small transverse veins between the edges, which are reticular, with smooth or hairy surface. The flowering and fruiting period is from April to October.
