Leaf blade: it is narrow elliptic at the initial stage, lanceolate at the later stage, acuminate at the apex, wedge-shaped at the base, serrated or denticulate at the edge. Flowers: corymbose panicle, growing in the axils of the top or upper leaves, blue or purple, with oblong oval petals. Fruit: Berry, blue in color, about 5 mm in diameter.
