The leaves of huangchangshan are narrow elliptic at the beginning, lanceolate at the end, 6-25cm in length and 2-10cm in width, tapering at the apex, cuneiform at the base, serrated or denticulate at the edge, glabrous or sparsely pilose below, and 4-5 pairs of lateral veins.
Huang Changshan is a corymbose panicle, growing at the top or upper leaf axil. The color of the flower is blue or purple, the shape of the calyx tube is inverted cone, the lobes are 4-7, triangular, and the petals are oblong elliptic. The flowering period is from June to July every year.
A berry of the genus Everest, having a blue color and a diameter of about 5 mm. There are many seeds with reticulation. The fruit is in September.
