The leaves of naoque are basal and arranged in two rows, usually 5 to 6. The leaves are banded or linear tongue shaped, about 15 to 40 cm long and 2 to 3 cm wide. The apex of the leaves is blunt, and occasionally there are depressions or notches. The upper part of the leaf is dark green, the back is a little light color, and there are purple brown spots at the base. The base is narrow, stipitate and folded in half.
The scape of naoque flower is vertical, 25-30cm long, dark green in color, densely covered with purple pubescence, with 1 flower growing on the top, and the petals are narrow, long, round or nearly spoon shaped, about 5-6cm long and 1.5cm-2cm wide. The petals are flat, the apex is blunt, and the edge is obviously wavy, the lip is in the shape of an inverted helmet, the petals are yellow green or yellow brown, and the center or even the base is densely purple red. Color spots
