Hybrid chrysanthemum has underground stem, plant height is about 30 to 50 cm, leaves are mostly clustered from the base, stem leaves are less. Flowers usually bloom during the day and close at night.

The flowers of hybrid medal chrysanthemum are head flowers, solitary, with yellow and orange red tongue flowers around, and brown black at the base. The petal surface is glossy, and the diameter of the flower is about 7 to 8 cm. The flowering period is from April to May.
