The first step is to apply base fertilizer, preferably organic fertilizer, around the stem of the plant in autumn. After fertilization, appropriate amount of water is poured to promote the dilution and absorption of fertilizer.
In the second step, in early spring, wisteria will sprout and need to be applied with NPK fertilizer. Try to keep the frequency in half a month, a total of two fertilization.
The third step is to apply fertilizer in the soil when Wisteria is about to blossom. The top dressing should be mainly P-K fertilizer with a small amount of nitrogen. Attention, if excessive nitrogen fertilizer, will cause branches and leaves to flourish, but flowers are rare, or even do not bloom at all.
The fourth step is to cut off the extra branches in time after Wisteria blooms and apply fertilizer once. This top dressing needs to be distinguished from the previous step, with nitrogen fertilizer as the main non mixed fertilizer, followed by the base fertilizer.
