The suitable growth temperature for hydroponics is above 5 ℃ and below 30 ℃. That is to say, when people feel comfortable, snake plant will grow healthily. Water change refers to the replacement of water with nutrient solution in the bottle. Generally, water is changed once every 5-10 days in spring and autumn; once every 5 days in summer; once every 10-15 days in winter (tap water is added to concentrated nutrient solution in proportion after half a day).
The purpose of changing water is to ensure the oxygen supply in the water. Fresh water contains more oxygen, and plants grow healthier. If they don't change water for a long time, they can stick to it for a long time, but if they don't change water for a long time, the water in the bottle is not fresh. When you find out, it's already dead.
Every time when changing water, wash the roots and containers of plants with clear water, trim the dead branches, leaves and rotten roots. Under normal circumstances, hydroponics will certainly rot part of the root, as long as the rotten part can be cut off.
In winter, there is little water in the air, especially in the north. The room is very dry, which is not good for the growth of snake plant. Therefore, it is necessary to spray the leaves with clear water to keep the humidity, which can be sprayed twice a day.
