The planting of Parthenocissus is usually by cutting. The adult Parthenocissus davidianus can be cutted in May and June of early summer.
Dig a hole at the bottom of the wall about 15cm deep. Insert the clippings of the Parthenocissus. The length of the branches is about 30-40cm. After planting, bury the soil, water it once every two days, and it will germinate in more than half a month.
Seed is the key to propagation. In September, when the fruit of the Parthenocissus is purple, the fruit can be picked, and the peel and fruit can be removed. Store in half dry sand. Sowing will be available in March next year.
When you see an old wooden building with green creepers all over the wall, do you feel like you are in a retro European continent, full of forest?
I'm used to seeing green Parthenocissus. This red Parthenocissus has a different taste. On the top of the green brick lies the gorgeous red creeper, which shows the vicissitudes and simplicity.
Who said that the creeper can only climb all over the wall, as a potted plant is also very good! A small basin, green leaves, is very lush.
