Litchi can be preserved in water, refrigerator and dehydrated. Litchi is easy to be damaged under normal temperature. Fresh litchi can be preserved in water or put some ice in it to reduce the temperature. Fruit stalks can also be removed, in groups of 20, tightly tied with dry newspapers and put into the refrigerator refrigeration layer. Or it can be dried and dehydrated to make litchi dry, which can be enjoyed all the year round.

1. Preservation in water

Litchi's preservation time is short, generally purchased on the same day, the next day may change the taste and damage. The common way of preservation in fruit shop is to keep fresh litchi in water and occasionally spray water to cool it. It can also be used for preservation at home. If possible, put some ice in the water to reduce the temperature and delay the decay time. But this method can't be preserved for a long time. It's suggested to eat it in 1-2 days. The nutritional value of fresh litchi is higher

2. Refrigerator preservation

Remove the stem of fresh litchi and wrap it in groups of 20 or so. The wrapping material is dry newspaper. Tie the packed bag tightly into the refrigerator refrigeration layer, be careful not to put it into the freezer, or the fruit will be damaged.

3. Dehydration and preservation

Both of the above methods are used to preserve fresh litchi for a maximum of 3-5 days. If you want to eat delicious and sweet lychees for a long time, you can dry them and dehydrate them into lychees, so you can enjoy them all the year round
