The rootless Clivia needs to have roots. Soak its bottom in carbendazim or potassium permanganate solution for 30-40 minutes, then take it out to dry. Vermiculite and sand are mixed as basin soil, which can provide good drainage. Wrap the bottom of it with sawdust, plant it in the basin soil, and spray a little water. Then put it in the shade and don't get the light. Do not pour it into the leaf core during daily watering, otherwise it will rot.

I. disinfection treatment

Clivia without roots is often because of root rot, so it was cut off. After cutting, it needs to be disinfected first. It can be made into disinfectant by mixing carbendazim or potassium permanganate with water. Then soak the pruning area in it and dry it in 30-40 minutes. The disinfectant should not be too thick. The content of carbendazim should be about 0.05%. The potassium permanganate solution should be diluted to pink.

II. Pot soil preparation

In order to make Clivia take root, we need to provide a suitable environment. Pot soil is the first step to help it take root. The soil should be as soft as possible with good drainage. Too sticky heavy soil is not good for the growth of root system. It can be made into pot soil with sand and vermiculite, which is good for its rooting.

3. Plant a pot.

When you have prepared the soil, you can replant the Clivia. In order to have enough space for the roots to grow, you can wrap the bottom with sawdust and then put it into the basin for filling. Then spray some water and put it in a cool and ventilated place.
