The planting of lavender in family can be replaced by small flowerpots or other containers. For example, in a yogurt box, use an awl to prick a few holes in the bottom of the box. The disposable plastic cup is also OK, but because it is transparent, it is better to paste or cover a paper cup with black paper outside (if the roots of plants are exposed to the sun, it will affect the growth, and the soil is easy to grow green moss).
Lavender seeds are relatively small, and the germination rate is relatively low, so the general soil for sowing needs to be loose, breathable, high water holding capacity, and fully disinfected. It can be mixed with vermiculite, peat, water moss, perlite, snake sawdust, etc. Conditional flowers can also be configured by themselves.
Lavender doesn't like water in its roots. After one-time watering, the water should be supplied when the soil is dry, the surface medium is dry, the inside is wet, and the leaves are slightly wilted.
It is an all day plant, which needs sufficient sunshine and suitable humidity environment. It is better to give full sunshine environment, half sunshine can also grow, but flowering is rare. In summer, at least 50% of the sunlight should be covered, and ventilation should be increased to reduce the ambient temperature, so that although the growth is weak, it will not die.
