Hibiscus is a kind of plant that is not cold resistant and grows fast. Generally, it can be pruned in another two time periods, namely, after the hibiscus flowers bloom, or when they sprout in early spring, it is about October to November, or February to march according to the month. Pruning in these two periods is beneficial to the accumulation of nutrients and the growth of new shoots.
It is suggested to choose the construction method according to the cultivation of tree shape. If there are many tree forms and they are also disorderly and uneven, we can reshape them by means of re cutting. If the growth of the tree is not good, only weak branches, dead branches, inner branches and annual branches can be pruned to make the crown look relatively vigorous and tidy. Generally speaking, hibiscus flowers need some heavy cutting, but no matter what kind of pruning method, the construction should be more than five centimeters above the branch intersection node in the target value.
We usually ignore the important point after pruning the hibiscus flowers, that is, the protection afterwards. In the areas with high humidity and low temperature, the cut can be wrapped with plastic film or coated with callus agent to prevent injury and freezing of flower branches. When it is cold, it can also be cut short, or only leave a height of about 10cm above the soil surface, and take insulation measures.
