The rhizome of Hemerocallis Hemerocallis is thick and short, and there are some fleshy fibrous roots, many of which will expand into long spindles. Its leaves are tufted from the base, strip shaped, and 30-60 cm long. The flowers open in summer. Before flowering, they draw out a 1-meter-high scape, and then grow large orange flowers at the top. Usually a plant can open 6-12, each flower has 6 petals, outward anti roll, the edge is wavy, with a long filament.
