The light conditions of hyacinth need to be moderate, so as to maintain normal growth. If the light is too weak, it will cause the plant to show signs of weakness, the stem will grow longer and longer in vain, the flower buds will grow smaller, and the leaves will turn yellow and fall off, which requires artificial use of incandescent lamps to supplement the light. If the light is too strong, it is not allowed, which will cause the leaves and petals to be burned, resulting in shortened flowering period.
In order to ensure normal growth, sandy soil with good drainage should be selected. It also needs to contain certain water and rich organic matter. Neutral or slightly alkaline soil is the most suitable. Keeping pH value in the range of 6-7, rotten leaf soil, garden soil, coarse sand and bone powder can be mixed in proportion.
Different growth stages have different requirements for temperature, so it is necessary to pay attention to good regulation. It is better not to exceed 30 ℃.
Keep the soil humidity between 60-70%, not too high or too low, or the growth will be limited. The humidity in the air is maintained at around 80%. If humidity is low, spray can increase humidity.
The basal fertilizer should be well padded when planting in the basin. In the growth period, the fertilizer should be applied 1-2 times, mainly P and k elements, and also before and after flowering.
