Xianglongxueshu can grow and develop normally when the sun is full or half shade, and it can be maintained with sufficient astigmatism. If the light is too strong, its leaves will droop, curl and even wither.
When planting it, try to choose the soil suitable for its growth, preferably loose and fertile sandy loam. The drainage of soil is also better to prevent waterlogging. Potted soil made from the mixture of saprophytic soil and culture soil is the best.
Its suitable growth temperature is 20-25 ℃. In winter, when the temperature is lower than 13 ℃, it will start to sleep, and below 5 ℃, it will suffer from frost damage. To create a warm growing environment for plants, try to adjust the temperature to a suitable range.
It likes to be wet and is afraid of waterlogging. The air humidity should be kept between 70-80% for the soil that needs to be wet in the growing period. When curing, it is necessary to water the leaves in time, and often spray water to supplement the water needed for growth. But the basin soil shall not be allowed to accumulate water to avoid rotten roots. During the dormancy period in winter, watering should be controlled, otherwise, the phenomenon of withering and scorching of the leaf tip will occur easily.
In its growth period, it needs to apply a thin liquid fertilizer or potassium nitrate fertilizer once every half a month. When the temperature in winter is lower than 13 ℃, fertilization can be stopped.
