A plant of the genus Bilai in the Cucurbitaceae. It blooms. But its flowers are very small, and the color of the flowers is also very light. The flowers are light yellow green, so it is not very obvious. It usually blooms in spring, because the ornamental is not high, so after it blooms, it can be cut off, so as not to increase the loss of nutrients.
Bilai drum is a dioecious plant, mainly distributed in the southwest of Madagascar, the female Bilai drum will have small fruits.
1. The stem height of bilei drum is about 50cm, its stem is erect or creeping, and there are some tendrils on the stem. There are branches at the base. These branches are very thin and round.
2. Its leaves are fleshy and alternate, with oval shape and green color. Its leaves are not big, only about 4cm in length and 3.5cm in width. Its leaves have petioles of 0.8cm in length. Its leaves are glabrous, and the middle of the leaves are concave.
