Calendula doesn't like strong sunlight. It needs to block the sunshine in spring, summer and autumn. It is not strict to the soil requirements. Generally, it can grow in the soil and can stand the barren. However, it is better to provide loose and nutritious slightly acidic soil so as to grow well.
It likes warm climate environment, the most suitable temperature for growth is about 15-25 ℃, avoid hot weather, when the temperature is higher than 34 ℃, it will grow badly. At the same time, it can't stand the cold. When the temperature in winter is lower than 4 ℃, it will go into dormancy and even die.
According to the normal growth of water supply, but also maintain a high humidity, you can spray water humidification, if the surrounding humidity is low, it may cause flower withering.
Fertilizer supplement is also needed in the growth. When there is a demand for growth, appropriate amount of fertilizer can be given for more times, but the concentration and dosage of each time cannot be too much.
