Change leaf wood to be happy with the light, not tolerant of the shade. The growth period needs to provide it with sufficient sunlight, so that the stem and leaf grow luxuriantly and the leaf color is bright. If the light is insufficient for a long time, the leaf stripes will not be obvious, the branches will become soft, and even produce fallen leaves.
The best soil for its growth is clay loam which is fertile and has strong water holding capacity. Potted plants can give it a mixture of saprophytic soil, culture soil and coarse sand.
It belongs to tropical plants, resistant to high temperature and cold. The optimum temperature for its growth is 20-35 ℃, which can adapt to the high temperature above 30 ℃ in summer and not lower than 15 ℃ in winter. If the temperature is below 10 ℃, its blades will fall off.
It likes to be wet rather than dry. During the growing period, the stem and leaf grow rapidly and need to be given sufficient water. In addition to watering it properly, you need to spray water on the leaves every day. But in winter, when the temperature is low, the basin soil should be kept a little dry, too much water will cause the leaves to fall off.
It doesn't need much fertilizer. It can be applied once a month in growth period. In late autumn and winter, try to apply less or no fertilizer to avoid affecting its dormancy.
