Generally, lilies bloom only once a year. However, it can also bloom twice. But not in the natural situation, it needs human intervention.
After the plant blooms once, cut off most of the stems, leaving only three or four leaves, and less water. Then, dig it out, taking care to bring some soil. Refrigerate it. After about two or three months, take it out and plant it. In this way, the plant can bloom twice a year. However, the cost is also very high, the damage to the plant is very large. So in general, it is not recommended to do this
(1) fertilization: in the early stage of flowering, the main types of applied fertilizers are nitrogen and potassium. The frequency is about every ten days to half a month. The phosphate fertilizer can be applied less. When flowering, need to spray some 0.2% to 0.3% concentration of potassium dihydrogen phosphate, is advantageous to flowering.
(2) temperature: the temperature should be appropriate before and after the flowering period, as well as during the flowering period, about 18 to 25 ℃.
(3) light: the lily itself likes light, and it also has it when it blooms. The best time to bloom is soft light.
(4) prevention and control of diseases and insect pests: sometimes there are diseases and insect pests, we must find and control them in time.
