Dendrobium prefers light. In summer and autumn, the sun is strong, which needs to block 50% of the sun. In winter and spring, the sun intensity is greatly reduced, which can block 30% of the light. If the light intensity is too high, it will cause the stem to expand and present yellow color, so it is not recommended to give too strong sunlight. As long as adequate light is ensured, flowers will bloom well in autumn, and the number of flowers will increase.
For the requirements of the soil, it is necessary to ensure good ventilation and drainage, which can be mixed with water moss, broken fern root, charcoal chips, broken tiles and perlite, of which water moss and broken fern root are necessary.
