Fusang is a strong positive plant, like to live in a warm and humid environment, not resistant to Yin. It requires sufficient sunlight for maintenance. The sunshine shall not be less than 8 hours per day. If the light is not enough, the flower bud will fall off easily, and the flower may shrink.
It does not have very strict requirements for soil, and has a wide range of adaptation. But it is the best to grow in the loam with rich organic matter and pH 6.5-ph 7.0.
Its growth temperature is between 18 ℃ - 38 ℃, and it needs to keep 12 ℃ - 15 ℃ in winter to survive. When the temperature is lower than 5 ℃, the leaves will turn yellow and fall off. When the temperature is lower than 0 ℃, the leaves will suffer from frost damage. Therefore, in the Yangtze River Basin and the north of China, we should try our best to plant in pots instead of in fields.
It needs to maintain a humid environment when it is raised and meet its requirements when it is watered. If the soil is dry, the flower buds will fall. Generally, it needs to be watered once a day. In summer, it can be watered sooner or later. However, the amount of water should not be excessive to avoid damage to the roots of plants.
It needs a lot of fertilizer and needs to be supplemented in time. Apply fertilizer once every 7-10 days, thin liquid fertilizer can be used. The amount of fertilizer applied after autumn can be reduced appropriately.
