Dishui Guanyin is a shade resistant plant and should not be exposed to strong light. It likes a semi overcast environment and needs to be kept in a shaded and well ventilated place. It should not be exposed to the sun in case of extensive burns.
It does not have high requirements for soil, but it grows best in sandy loam or humus loam with organic matter and easy drainage. During maintenance, loosen the soil once a month to keep the basin soil in a good state.
It likes warm, the best growth temperature is 20-30 ℃, the lowest temperature can withstand 8 ℃. The temperature is too high in summer. It needs to be shaded and sprayed frequently to reduce the temperature. In winter, the room temperature shall not be lower than 5 ℃, so as to avoid freezing damage.
It needs to grow in a humid environment. In the growing season, it not only requires the basin soil to be moist, but also the air humidity to be no less than 60%. In winter, when the temperature is lower than 15 ℃, watering should be reduced to avoid root rot.
It grows faster and likes fertilizer. It needs to apply nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium compound fertilizer 1-2 times a month. If it is short of fertilizer for a long time, it will not grow well and affect its ornamental value. When the temperature in winter is lower than 15 ℃, fertilization should be stopped.
