Five color plum is a kind of plant that likes light. When it is cured, it should be given enough light. It can be placed outdoors in the sun to maintain, in summer it does not need to shade.
Its adaptability is strong, there is not much requirement for soil, and it can grow normally in general soil. But it is better to plant it in the fertile and loose sand, and the drainage of the soil must be better.
The most suitable temperature for its growth is 20-28 ℃. When the temperature is lower than 20 ℃ or higher than 28 ℃, its growth rate will slow down. It is easy to frostbite when the temperature is too low, so it should be moved indoors in winter.
It likes the humid environment. It needs to be watered frequently to maintain the soil in a moist state. When summer is hot, you can use foliar spray to water.
It needs to be fertilized every 15 days or so in its growing period. It is better to use thin fertilizer mainly composed of phosphorus and potassium to provide it with sufficient nutrients. Urea fertilizer should be applied every 7-10 days in the bud stage to make the flowers bloom more brightly and keep them blooming continuously.
