The transplanting time of gardenia is generally recommended in spring and autumn, in February and October. Do not transplant in summer or rainy season, or in flowering period, which will greatly affect the survival rate, resulting in it can not survive the slow seedling stage.
Water control is required before transplanting. Make sure that the pot soil is dry, so that the pot soil and the flowerpot can be separated better. If the pot soil is more, you can remove part of it before transplanting.
The branches and leaves need to be pruned before transplanting. Cut off the horizontal branches, weak branches and overlapping branches, and cut off the larger leaves at the same time, which is conducive to plant water conservation.
After the plant is taken out of the basin, the roots are treated. It is mainly to cut the old and bad roots, so as to avoid infection of germs and so on.
You need to put a few tiles at the bottom of the basin before you go to the basin. Then fill the soil with 2-3cm nutrient soil, and put the plants on it to start filling. The fill can't be filled, so it's easy to water.
If the growth is decadent and the air humidity is not high, you can put on a plastic bag after changing the basin. Spray water in the bag first to keep the air humidity. Cover the bag in half, then take it off every 5 hours to breathe.
