The loose and fertile soil with good air permeability shall be used for planting bayberry. During its growth period, water shall be timely applied to ensure that the soil is moist, and the light shall be properly received. The thin liquid fertilizer with full maturity shall be applied once a month. Propagation can be done by cutting or sowing. In addition, yellow disease and coal pollution should be prevented and controlled.

I. planting environment

1. Pot soil: to plant arbutus, loose and fertile soil with good permeability can also be prepared with humus soil, garden soil and slag.

2. Watering: during its growth, it should be watered in time to ensure that the soil is wet. It can also spray water around the plant properly to improve the humidity of the planting environment, so as to prevent the leaves from drying out. When the temperature is low in winter, it should be watered less, and the main basin soil should not be dried and cracked.

3. Light: properly accept the light, and put it in a bright and ventilated environment for maintenance. In summer, avoid exposure to the sun, and take appropriate shade measures.

4. Fertilization: thin fertilizer should be applied frequently, once a month. It is better to apply thin liquid fertilizer which is fully decomposed to meet its normal growth demand.

2. Breeding methods

1. Cuttage Propagation: the most suitable temperature for cuttage is about 20 ℃. Cut 10 cm thick and full branches, then soak and disinfect them with carbendazim, and soak them with rooting agent. The cuttage is not easy to be too deep, generally 1.5-2 cm. Spray water properly after cuttage, and it will take about 15-20 days to root.

2. Sowing and propagation: before sowing, seed soaking should be carried out first. After sowing, the soil should be kept moist. Do not irrigate with large amount of water. When the seedlings are growing, they should receive light properly and reduce watering.

3. Disease control

Aspen plum is often damaged by chlorosis and coal pollution. It should be sprayed with ferrous sulfate or tobujin in time.
