Select appropriate ornamental lotus seeds, grind the sunken end of the seeds on the cement ground, soak the seeds in warm water and wait for seedling. In the process of germination, the water should be changed frequently to keep the water quality clear and sprout about one week. When the root grows to about 10cm, transplanting can be carried out. One plant can be cut in each basin. The water layer should be about 3-5cm shallow, and the lotus leaf cannot be submerged in the water.
1. Choose to plant from March to April. Before planting, mix the basin mud into paste.
2. When planting, insert the head of lotus root into the mud at an angle of 20 degrees along the edge of the basin. Keep the head low and the tail high, make the tail half up, don't let the lotus root tail water
3. After planting, place it in the sunshine, when the soil surface is slightly dry and cracks appear, that is, add a little water after the lotus root and soil are completely bonded, and when the buds grow out, gradually deepen the water level, and keep at 3-5cm.
