Anemone mainly has two methods of seed propagation and ball splitting propagation.
The single petal variety of anemone is easy to bear fruit. The sowing time is from August to October, and the suitable sowing temperature is from 0 to 20 ℃. The seeds are small and can be sown as they are picked. Because the seeds of Anemone have long fluff, we should rub the seeds with sand first when sowing in pot. The requirement of Anemone on soil is not high, the basin soil is loose and flat. After sowing seeds, cover the surface of basin soil with a layer of plant ash to protect seeds. After 15 days, the seeds germinate and can be fertilized twice. Anemone like wet, cold, avoid high temperature. So after sowing to ensure a good indoor humid ventilation environment.
The double petaled anemone can be divided into bulbs (plants) for colonization, and the bulbs (plants) can be divided from August to October. After the ball is divided, the basin soil is covered with 3cm soil. From April to June, it will bloom. In the ball (plant) planting, the requirements of good drainage, fertile and loose soil.
Anemone can be propagated and cultivated in the open. The breeding and cultivation time is usually in late September. Three parts of garden soil, one part of rotten leaf soil and one part of rice husk ash were mixed. When planting, the tip of the plant should be down, not upside down. After planting, it can be placed in the sunny place. When the rooting and germination of the seed ball are 1-2cm, the planting should be started, and the soil should be kept moist. Remember, do not transplant after planting, otherwise anemone will grow poorly or die. At the initial stage of planting, we should pay attention to shade. After the true leaves grow out, we can apply fertilizer, keep ventilation and strengthen light. In the middle stage of Anemone growth, a large amount of nutrition should be supplemented, and calcium and potassium fertilizer can be applied. During the growth of Anemone, we should weed properly to ensure the quality of Anemone.
