Seed inspection is to remove empty shells and deteriorated seeds. You can use a knife to randomly cut some full seeds to see if the seeds are fresh and vigorous. Generally, the seeds of good seeds are milky white.
Wash the seeds with clear water, soak them in 1% bleaching powder or 0.5% potassium permanganate solution for disinfection, about 15-20 minutes, then wash them with clear water and dry them in the air, or soak them in 0.5% formalin solution for about a quarter of an hour, pour out the solution and seal them for about 30 minutes, finally wash them with clear water and dry them.
In order to promote the rapid germination of seeds, the sterilized seeds can be soaked in warm water at about 50 ℃ for about 4 hours. After the seeds are taken out, they can be put into a basket, covered with straw or wet cloth, and put in the temperature of 18-24 ℃ for germination. When more than half of the seed bell shells are cracked or the radicle is slightly exposed, the seeds can be seeded. In the process of germination, it is necessary to turn the seeds frequently to keep the temperature and humidity of the upper and lower layers consistent, so as to make the buds neat.
