1. Select a strong branch with many branches, and gently peel a wound with a width of about 0.5-1cm at 1 /2-2 /3 of the branch.
2. Bend down the branches and put them directly into the soil. When bending, be careful not to break the branch suddenly. If you want a more convenient method, you can also bend the branch into another pot, so that the rooting branch will not need to be transplanted.
3. Dig a hole in the soil and bury the branch with the wound in the soil.
4. After girdling the wound and burying it in the soil, you can press a brick on it to prevent the branches from rising.
5. If you can't find bricks at home, you can also make a U-shape with wire, and insert it into the soil with the opening facing down to prevent the branches from rising.
6. Usually pay attention to watering to ensure the soil is wet. With this method, it can take about 15-20 days to root. Because at this time, the branches haven't separated from the mother's body, the nutrition is still sufficient, and the rooting is very fast. After rooting, cut the branches directly and put them in the pot.
Sometimes when we press, we can choose a long branch. At this time, we can use a multi pressing method. Today, we take jasmine as an example
1. Select a robust long branch of jasmine, peel 180 degrees on the branch, that is, each node of the branch, only peel 180 degrees, leaving half of the skin.
2. Because the selected Jasmine branch is relatively long, it can strip 1, 3, 5 and 7 nodes on the branch as the rooting point, while 2, 4, 6 and 8 nodes remain as the growth point of the new branch. If the branch is long enough, several more nodes can be left between the girdling nodes, which is conducive to the rapid growth of new branches.
3. Prepare several plastic bottles and cut off the upper part, leaving only the bottom part. Poke a small hole at the bottom of the plastic bottle, then cover it on the branches of jasmine, and then add sand, peat soil and other soil into the plastic bottle. Make sure that the wound peeled by jasmine is buried by the soil. Then set up a shelf, use tape to tie the plastic bottle and shelf together, to prevent the branches from tipping
4. In about 2 months, the pressed Jasmine can grow the root system of the white flower.
5. Cut off the branches of jasmine, and it will become four small jasmine. Is it easier than cutting?
The high-altitude layering is suitable for some flowers whose branches are not easy to bend, such as osmanthus, camellia, Magnolia, etc. Flower today to triangle plum for example, say how to carry out high-altitude molding
1. Select the healthy branches of the current year from the bougainvillea, and then peel the bougainvillea that needs to be pressed. The width is about 0.5-1cm. Pay attention to scrape the formation layer (that is, the layer of green skin) of the branches.
2. Dip a bit of rooting powder with a cotton swab and smear it on the peeled wound.
3. Prepare a piece of toilet paper or tissue, fold it slightly in half, and wrap it on the wound of triangle plum.
4. After wrapping the wound with toilet paper, spray water on the tissue with a small watering can, soak the tissue thoroughly, and then wrap a layer of fresh-keeping film or plastic bag for moisturizing. After that, tie the upper end of the plastic bag with thin thread, not too tight at the lower end, so that the root system can be directly drilled out from the lower end.
5. Finally, wrap a layer of newspaper outside the fresh-keeping film to achieve the purpose of shading. Branches in the dark environment, can stimulate cell division and growth, and after girdling, the nutrients of the branches are all concentrated in the wound, so that the branches can take root faster.
6. Spray the paper towel with water at an interval of 3-5 days, so that the paper towel does not lack water, or it will affect the rooting of Prunus deltoides. It only takes about 20-30 days for boughs to take root.
7. Cut off the rooting branches directly and put them into the basin together with paper towels. After the operation of high-altitude layering, you can get a new plum pot plant!
1. If you want to strip and propagate the rose, you'd better strip the branches that were born in that year. The wound of girdling is about 1cm.
2. Find a plastic bottle, cut off the bottle mouth, and then cut two holes on both sides of the bottle wall, so that the branches can pass through the bottle, and finally poke a few small holes at the bottom of the bottle to ensure that there are drainage holes.
3. Fill the plastic bottle with the soil needed for cutting, and then insert the branch into the slit cut in the bottle. The peeled part of the rose branches must be included in the bottle, covered with soil and poured with water once, about 15 days, you can see the root of the pressed rose.
4. After rooting, cut off the branches and directly put them into the pot. Before you go to the basin, just cut the plastic bottle open.
