Waxy tree has pinnate compound leaves, 15-25cm long, 4-6cm long petioles, straight leaf axes, 5-7 leaflets, hard paper, oval, obovate oblong to lanceolate leaves, about 3-10cm long, about 2-4cm wide, sharp leaf apex, blunt or wedge-shaped base, and neat serrated leaf margin.
Fimbria leaves are leathery or thinly leathery, oblong, elliptic or round, about 3 to 12 cm long and about 2 to 6.5 cm wide. The apex of the leaves is round and blunt, sometimes concave or sharp, the base is round or wide wedge or wedge, the leaves are all or small serrated, and the leaf margin is slightly retrorse.
The panicle of ash tree is terminal or axillary on the branch tip, 8 to 10 cm long, peduncle 2 to 4 cm long, male flowers are dense, calyx is small, campanulate, grow about 1 mm, without corolla.
Fimbria cymose panicles, 3 to 12 cm long, terminal in branches, flowers 1.2 to 2.5 cm long, corolla white, 4-parted, lobes linear lanceolate.
