The main branch of Begonia flower is relatively smooth, and the color is mostly gray brown. The trunk of Nanking cherry blossom is rough, with obvious texture and dark gray color.
The leaves of Begonia flowers are mainly elliptical. There is no hair on the front and back of the leaves, and there are thin serrations on the leaf margin. The leaves of Nanking cherry blossom are mostly oval, there is no hair on the front side of the leaves, but sparse hair on the back side, and irregular serrations on the edge of the leaves.
Both Begonia and Nanking cherry are umbels. However, there are generally 5-8 flowers in the inflorescence of Begonia and only 3-4 flowers in the inflorescence of Nanking cherry. In addition, the flower of Begonia is slightly larger than that of Nanking cherry
