The height of Persian chrysanthemum is between 1-2m, and there is no hair or only a small amount of pubescence on the stem. The height of guayeju is 30-70cm, the stem grows upright, on which there are dense white villi.
The leaf blade of boshiba has a secondary feather crack, and its lobes are linear or filiform. However, the leaves of Cucurbita are wide, 10-15cm long, 10-20cm wide and in a wide heart shape.
The inflorescence of boshiba is capitulum, the flower is solitary, the pedicel is 6-18cm, and the flower diameter is about 3-6cm. The ligulate flowers are white, pink or purplish red, and the tubular flowers are yellow. The inflorescence of Cineraria is also capitate, but its peduncle length is only 3-6cm. Its flower color is similar to that of the Persian chrysanthemum, but the ligulate flower has the light blue that the former does not have.
