The leaves of cored rattan are heart-shaped and grow up about 4 to 8 cm. The top of the leaves gradually becomes sharp and the base is heart-shaped. There are 18 to 32 fine serrations on each side of the edge of the leaves. The top is green and the bottom is light green. There are no fluff on both sides of the leaves.
The cotyledons are 8 to 10 cm long, the leaves are thin leathery, the color is emerald green, and the surface of the leaves usually has irregular yellow patches. The leaves are oval or ovate oblong in unequal sides, the apex of the leaves is short and gradually sharp, and the base is heart-shaped.
The inflorescence of Coreopsis is opposite to the leaf, the flower bud is oval, the height is about 1 to 1.5 mm, the top is round, the petals are 4, the petals are oval, the height is about 0.7 to 1.2 mm, hairless.
It is difficult to see what the flowers look like, usually asexual propagation.
