Yushu is a Crassulaceae, a succulent subshrub with a thick, fleshy stem.
The leaves of Douban green are dense and almost the same size. There are 3 or 4 whorls, which are oval or nearly round in width, 9-12 mm in length and 5-9 mm in width.
The leaves of Yushu are fleshy and oval in shape. Compared with the former, they are wider, about 4cm long and 3cm wide. The leaves are grayish green.
The petals are spicate, terminal and axillary, about 2-4.5 cm long, and the florescence is from February to April and from September to December.
Yushu for tube flower, diameter about 2 cm, color for white or light pink, flowering in late spring and early summer.
