Fulukao is an annual herbaceous plant. Its stem is very upright. The plant is about 15-45cm long, with branches and glandular hairs.
Beautiful Nanking cherry is a perennial herb, the bottom of the plant will be creeping, the stem will expand horizontally, the height of the plant is about 10-50 cm, the distribution is relatively dense.
The former leaves are alternate, the leaves at the base are opposite, the shape of the leaves is wide oval, rectangular circle, the length is about 2-7.5cm, the edge of the leaves is whole, there is no serration around, the relatively round, the surface of the leaves will have pilose.
The leaf of the latter is opposite, the shape is oblong, the edge will have neat round blunt serrations, or the rough teeth of the notch shape, not completely round, the position of the leaf base will have cracks.
The flowers of fulukao are terminal cymes, the calyx part is tubular, and the Corolla is in the shape of foot saucer, with a diameter of about 2-2.5cm. It has many varieties, one of which is a cluster of fluke flowers, very similar to the latter flowers, but it also has a dot pattern in the middle.
The flowers of the beautiful Nanking cherry are spikes, with small flowers arranged in the shape of an umbrella.
