The leaves of gemstone flowers are leathery, wide obovate or fan-shaped, slightly close to ovate, 1-2.5cm long, 1-2cm wide, round at the top, wedge-shaped at the base, with fine round teeth at the edge of the leaves, light brown villi on the top, gray white or light brown cotton wool on the bottom.
The leaves of Avalokitesvara are in the shape of a rosette. The leaves are flat and slender. The apex of the leaves gradually becomes sharp. There are short hairs on the edge of the leaves. When the light is sufficient, the apex of the leaves will turn purple or brown.
Gem Flower cymes, each with 5 to 12 flowers, peduncle 8 to 17 cm long, corolla tube, blue or purple blue, 6.5 to 11 mm long
The flowers of Avalokitesvara are very small, star shaped and pink.
