Jinshangzhu, Buddha pearl and jingtongzi are all succulent plants of Compositae, among which jinshangzhu is also known as lemon xiannianju, baishoule and Buddha pearl is also known as green bell. All three are fleshy leaves with round and full leaves.
The leaves of the Pearl on the brocade are in the shape of water drops and have stripes. The rhizome of jinshangzhu is relatively straight, especially when it is in the early stage of growth, there is no sense of sagging basin. It can produce small white flowers with yellow stamens.
The leaves of Buddha beads are round or spindle shaped. There is a transparent longitudinal line in the center of the leaves, and the tail of the leaves is slightly raised with a small tip. The roots of Buddha beads are hanging and creeping on the soil.
There are brown stripes on the leaves of Jingtong children. Some are darker, some are lighter. They can produce small white flowers with red stamens.
